Choir

The SGS Choir nurtures students’ passion for singing while developing them into resilient musicians and confident performers. Beyond musical training, members are given diverse opportunities to grow holistically through leadership roles and participation in various projects. The choir’s repertoire extends beyond traditional choral works to include busking performances, collaborations with other performing arts groups, as well as songwriting and composition, providing a rich and dynamic musical experience.

The Choir actively engages the community through a range of Values-in-Action (VIA) projects, where students plan and carry out music-based initiatives. In recent years, members have organised and delivered performances and activities for organisations such as Sunflower Preschool, using music to connect with and contribute meaningfully to the community.
