Boys’ Brigade
The Boys' Brigade (BB) 47th Singapore Company, established in Serangoon Garden Secondary School in 2000 and sponsored by Trinity Methodist Church, develops Boys into leaders of character through leadership training, outdoor adventure, community service and teamwork. Boys grow in resilience, discipline and service while embodying the BB motto, "Sure and Stedfast."
The Boys' Brigade (BB) 47th Singapore Company has been a proud part of the Serangoon Garden Secondary School community since 2000, with Trinity Methodist Church as its sponsoring church. Guided by the motto "Sure and Stedfast," the Boys' Brigade seeks to nurture boys of strong character, resilience and integrity through a holistic programme founded on Christian values.
At Serangoon Garden Secondary School, the Boys' Brigade provides the Boys with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork and self-discipline while building lasting friendships. Through a wide range of activities such as leadership training, outdoor adventure, drills, kayaking, community service, competitions and camps, our Boys are challenged to step out of their comfort zones and grow into confident, responsible and caring young leaders.
The Company also places a strong emphasis on serving the community. Through Values-in-Action projects with the Institute of Mental Health and the Salvation Army, the Boys learn the importance of compassion, empathy and giving back to society. These experiences help cultivate a lifelong spirit of service and prepare our Boys to make positive contributions to their school, community and nation.
In the Boys' Brigade, every member is encouraged to strive for excellence, lead with humility and serve with purpose—living out the spirit of being "Sure and Stedfast."
