Gym Etiquette

1. Users must wear proper sports attire and covered footwear in the Gym.

2. Users are to bring along their own towels while using the equipment and are expected to wipe off the perspiration from the equipment after use.

3. For hydration, only bottled plain water are allowed. The bottles must be capped when not in use. Drinks in cups/cans and food are not allowed in the room.

4. Users should respect the common space and always keep the room clean and neat.

5. Users should care for the equipment and return all equipment to its original place after use. No equipment is to be taken out of the gym at any time.

Exercise and Safety

1. Users should warm up with proper stretches before exercise or using the equipment.

2. Users should use the equipment for its intended purpose only and follow instructions on the proper usage and types of exercises displayed on the machine or in the gym. When in doubt, users are required to consult the PE teachers.

3. When using weights, dumbbells and bars, please release the implements carefully. Do not drop them carelessly and noisily.

4. Users must stop exercising whenever they feel unwell (e.g. light-headed, giddy, faint or experience chest pains etc).
