Immersion programme in Beijing 2026

SGS Sec 3 students and teachers explored Beijing’s rich culture, history and technology while building friendships with their sister school and broadening their global perspectives.
Our Sec 3 students are back from an incredible immersion programme in Beijing, where they visited our newest sister school, the Experimental School Affiliated to Haidian District Teachers’ Training College (北京市海淀区教师进修学校附属实验学校). There, they shared about Singapore and SGS through a bilingual presentation and video, enjoyed a friendly Basketball match with their Haidian friends, and presented a beautiful Guzheng performance. Beyond the school visit, they explored Beijing's rich history, vibrant culture, and cutting-edge technology — broadening their global and cross-cultural literacy, and deepening their understanding of Singapore's place in the world.
