At the "Xin Kong Xia" (新空下) Xinyao Singing and Songwriting Competition, Erwin emerged as one of 7 finalists in the Lyrics Writing Category, and received the Award of Distinction (优胜奖）!

His lyrics titled《拥抱朝阳》("Embrace the Dawn") captured the resolve to follow our aspirations and greet each sunrise, undaunted however rugged the path.
